Puff!

Longshaw Welcome duty today. Despite being much quieter than last week, it was an interesting day with lots of people with interesting stories to tell.
I did manage to escape for an hour to go for a wander. There were plenty of fungi around, although the wet and windy conditions meant that many of them were in less than pristine condition. These Common Puffballs (Lycoperdon perlatum) had taken a bit of a splashing.
