Paseo del Prado

We were on the way to the Thyssen Collection, to see an excellent  exhibition of 40 photographs of plants  by Karl Blossfeldt, from Urformen der Kunst,  a book published in1928, four years before he died. It is one of the most important books in the history of photography. The blip marks our farewell to Madrid--we take a train tomorrow to Salamanca, 200 kilometers to the west.
