Clear Up

I'm back in Stonehaven for a week. While I was away the town got hit by a severe storm, called by some to be a tsunami.

I had a walk along the beach in the dark tonight and I notice a big difference. Lots of shingle was gone or moved, houses were boarded up, sandbags still out, ruined carpets sitting about, still a lot of standing water.

Here's the main beach walk, a popular walk for locals, you can see where some of the houses, where previously I was jealous of their sea view, have been fenced off due to damage.
