Up the Hammers

Sarah’s dad is on holiday so she invited me to today’s West Ham home game against Man U. It was lovely to spend some time with her and the stake and ale pie was really good. The match, although not very exciting, football, was won by West Ham 2-0. West Ham’s home ground is the 2012 Olympic stadium which is huge, but filled with fans singing “I’m forever blowing bubbles” and have bubbles pumped out around the ground makes it seem less vast.
Sam made tea for us all, BBQ chicken and some lovely salads followed by crepes. No matter how full you feel, there’s always room for crepes, and we took some home for tomorrow’s breakfast, they were so delicious.
