Crazy race!

Well we got 10th out of about 28, which given the wind conditions was excellent! The later race was much worse - they said it was like being in Surfskis on the sea - except of course they were all in flatwater race kayaks. Lots of retirements and a lot of expletives deployed. Still our team put in a good effort and we were third from the Midlands despite a small team so we are happy with that. Given that my aim for next year is to be in the next division up, I may need to practice dealing with high wind and waves!!
