Newhaven Harbour Sunset
Another back-blip.
This was yesterday evening. It was 'Doors Open' in Edinburgh and we'd seen a couple of fascinating old chapels, tucked away in the grimy streets of the Old Town.
After that, a complete contrast - Lothian Buses garage in Annandale Street. It was party time down there, freedom to clamber on and off various generations of bus, trips through the bus - wash, tours round town in vintage vehicles - plus bouncy castles, burgers and the rest. The kids were loving it.
I had a good time too - my Dad worked down there in the 1950s and I remember the children's parties they used to have in the garage.
We had a restorative coffee in Valvona and Crolla, and then, seeing a good sunset was in prospect, went down to Newhaven pier for a bit of photography, and maybe even some fish and chips?
So a good day, but I ended it feeling wobbly, so posting had to wait till today. I'm fine now, but even more behind with Blip :-(
