Post-Shine Gift

I came into work this morning to find this little gift bundle on my desk :-) 

It was quite good fun at work today, all of us in cosier clothes- I took full advantage of going in in leggings and flip-flops ;-) 

Lots of laughter and a continued feeling of team spirit. A bit emotional and all of us walking wounded! 

It rained most of the day but my mood was good. In the evening I had a phone call from my publisher. He ran me through all the details again, and I think I'm ready to go ahead. I'm a bit worried about how it will pan out, but I feel I need to take a chance or I'll regret it. It was nice to hear good things about my work, but I'm always suspicious when somebody pays me a compliment ;-)
