A bit dismal...

...with rain and a drop in temperature. Today was the first day since summer started that I had to wear long sleeves and a jacket. I hated to do it, but it's really chilly and wet, and yet tomorrow it's supposed to be partly sunny and 82 degrees. How on earth can it go from 50 to 82 in a 24 hour period? But that's the Midwest for you--the weather is never boring! I spent a few hours today at my good friend Debbie's daughter-in-laws' baby shower....she got so many gifts they had to take them home in someone's trailer!  It's hard to believe that one little baby needs that much STUFF, but then I'm looking at it from a different perspective than the new mom-to-be. Everything was awfully cute & they're really excited!    :))
