Red, White, and Blue

The colors of the American flag. 
"Three cheers for the red, white, and blue," as the song says.

Boy, do we need cheering these days, as our government falls apart.

Just as the rainbow after the Flood seemed like a promise from God not to destroy the earth again, this sky in all its benign magnificence on a perfect day seemed like a reminder that there is hope.
