A Wet Day A The Castle

Instead of the usual Sunday morning driving around blip-hunting I had to go to The Mate's to get some images on a flash drive for a client. It was pouring down anyway so I thought I'd leave blipping until this afternoon. Maybe The Man would fancy a trip out!

I had the idea of using a technique in a recent Digit Camera magazine. I'd never tried making a watercolour effect before though I often admire the results my blipmates achieve. We went to Lowther Castle and the nearby village of Askham looking for subect matter (and lattes) (and cake).

BTW: thoose peculiar square trees have nothing to do with my editing! They're cut like that, yes, really!
