Stormy skies but surprisingly successful sales

One minute warm and sunny with blue skies the next absolutely pelting it down...
10 hours on the road, hoping for the bumper day needed to reach September target; turned out better than I ever could have hoped... As always, an interesting day of socialising with a range of customers, from one-legged Tony, to Dave and Carol with Carol whispering to me that Dave will spend £500 if I play my cards right :D, to Marian the Edexcel examiner who said she's definitely not buying, to Phil and Louise with 11 month old Arthur who's a proper cutie... So, shockingly, doubled my week's turnover and smashed my target. Though slogging it on a Sunday, reckon I deserve it!
