Bindibu expedition, Day 3
We drove from the Bungabiddy Rockhole camp to a claypan camp in the Mu Hills.
One of the worst features of this expedition was the flies. Only one or two hardy souls weren't wearing fly nets. They were unforgettable, and dreadful.
On the way we drove up a very steep 4WD track, that had been constructed by the well known surveyor and road engineer Len Beadell. It was incredibly stony, and those stones were remarkably smooth - see the photo. The top of that hill must have been under water at some stage.
