Dear Rain,

As a Mancunian I have learned to live with you throughout my life. It is time for me to tell you something honest - I don't like you. I know this is harsh but there are times when the truth must be told. Now, I appreciate that we cannot live without you but you are overbearing - there is no respite. I can handle you in small doses but I'm afraid I prefer a nice blue sky ahead of your company. You have been here for weeks now - isn't it time you went away for a while?
