Venice

Aveiro gets called ‘the Venice of Portugal’. Of course, it’s nothing like Venice, but it was fun to ride the canals on one of the old salt boats.

Aveiro is a small town with a big arts scene.

Today was open house day in all the museums and a bit of (free) culture never goes amiss.
