Feisty.

Went fishing with my best chum Jamie today, on the river Frome near Stroud.

It was pretty tricky fishing as the river is carrying an extra two feet of water. This level, for a stream the size of the Frome, is a lot of water.

However, being the two amazingly skilled fishermen that we are, we caught many of these fellows, from a couple of ounces up to 3/4lb. Technically they are out of season but there's nothing we can do about that; we were actually fishing for Roach...

Still, it's nice to know the fish are there. This part of the Frome has really suffered from neglect over the last decade or so, and idiotic, shit-for-brained planning and development has allowed far, far too many stupid, piss-poor housing developments to be built on or near to the flood plan with no sustainable drainage.

Keep fighting little fishies (it goes without saying that all of ours did, and always do, go back).
