....a pencil full of lead.....
First day back at work today! God I'm knackered already.
I, like many of my colleagues in schools up and down the country, and despite being still in a pay freeze, spend my own money buying what should be essential supplies....essential for the pupils to actually have themselves....but they don't....so we have to lend them out.
These are to replace the ones that got stolen, broken, used up, sharpened to nothingness or damaged last term....another £20 forked out.
The quiz resumed tonight....after a run of poor results we got back on the winning trail by beating last years Champions and arch-rivals the Cricket Club for the second time this season. We probably won't win the league this year...but we bloody well made sure they won't either!.....49-40 to the good guys.
