Der Löwe, die Hexe und die Garderobe

Okay, a bit corny I know.

But it was out first morning in Germany, staying in the beautiful Erlenbruk resort just on the outskirts of Hinterzarten in the Schwarzwald. And there was snow on fir trees. (you have to remember that growing up in Australia/NZ, I'd only ever seen things like this on Christmas Cards)

In one corner of the parking lot was a lamp-post that put me in mind of CS Lewis's books...
