Attracted to the autumn colour

My neighbours fern is turning a beautiful shade of orange and green. I was putting clippings into our green bin when I noticed it and as I had my phone in my pocket I thought it should feature as today’s blip. I’ve finally got as far as digging over the new bed and adding some compost to it before tiredness and approaching rain brought me back inside again. We encountered a lovely young man in KDA who helped us get the bags to the car. I’m looking forward to planting the new flower bed, though I’m running quite a bit behind due to the serious amount of rain we’ve had. Fortunately this area of the garden had drained well so wasn’t too much of a problem to dig.
