Waiting

Birthday girl and I went to see Life of Pi today with a friend of hers. After we'd picked up the tickets we had half an hour to wait until the film started. I left them chatting and wandered off with the camera. I was interested to realise later that many of my pictures were of people waiting.

We enjoyed the film. More than the book, in my case. As others have said, the photography is superb and the CGI very clever. It seems 3D film-makers are beginning just to use the technology and not make a film shout that it is 3D by shoving things in your face. There was a bit of that, but also the best bit of 3D I've yet seen, with rain gently falling in front of us.
