Mono Monday

A relaxing couple of hours this morning spent with fellow blipper Anrola ....a cuppa at a local nursery followed by a wander around the trees and plants for sale before heading down the road to Preston Mill to take some photos.

There has been a mill on the site since the 16th century but the current mill dates from the 18th century and was in operation until 1959. Today we were lucky to see the waterwheel turning (see extra), after some recent renovation work...as you can see some more work is still needed!

This afternoon I dusted/washed and reinstated all the books and ornaments onto the shelving unit in the sitting room...I’m getting there slowly!!
