Busy morning

Splendid clouds this morning while hound walking.  Disheartening city council propose to build on this lovely space.  Our campaign has managed to halt first consultation.  The council claim they've listened and the exhibition of new plans is tomorrow and Friday.  Labour party leaflet in mid-Sept stated a 'welcome' of the plans.  Previous plans were deemed 'exciting' -  not.  Residents had to wait a fortnight to be informed which also limits commenting window.
Had a long swim to calm me down.  Chose new bike which is being assembled for later in week.
Rainy afternoon, pond seems to be filling up.  So will water butts when we least need them!
