Laurence

I once saw Laurence Fishburne leap on stage of the old Odeon on Clerk Street to introduce the premiere of space film Event Horizon at a late night film festival screening. With fag in hand, he told us that the film was really damned scary and that we may well soil ourselves. Except he didn't say "damned" and he didn't say "soil". Like I say, it was a late night thing and Laurence was very much in the zone with his intro. It set the tone perfectly.

I mention this because tonight me and my family went to see the pretty dull space film Ad Astra. It was all a little bland. And some of it was a bit ridiculous. They got bored. I thought it was pretty flimsy stuff. Nice music tho'.
