Ingapirca

This is the Temple of the Sun at Ecuador's most preserved archaeological sites and it is well worth a visit if you are ever in the area!  There is another shot of it in extras.  The stone is beautifully worked and so colourful!

Evidence of the intense nature of the day can be seen in the extras of Ecuador's highest peak, Chimborazo (6263m) putting in an appearance early this morning, shots of the colourful nature of the countryside, some wildlife, and some of the poorer members of society waiting for a truck to come along which might offer some employment for the week.  Such a diversely beautiful, intriguing and challenging country.

We are in Cuenca for a couple of days now and are looking forward to seeing more of the City tomorrow.
