Magic Cards

There is this project going on, called the One Street Project, conceived by the brilliant Kendallishere, inspired by a poem by Ursula LeGuin. I work on the most mundane street, State Street in Salem Oregon. But looking on Google Maps I see it reaches from the Willamette River, past the Capitol and out of town until it reaches the Cascade highway, so I think there will be plenty of photographic grist for the mill. And such a good excuse to take a picture of whatever i pass on the way to my car and escape path. This is the Fantasy card and comic book store across from my office. I took this sign because my son had a love for this card game, called Magic, the Gathering.
