Surfing lessons
We have Miss 5 staying with us for most of this month until she starts school next year (her first year at school). It's keeping me rather busy I must say, so my apologies for not blipping or commenting much at the moment!
She loves the beach so each day we have been packing all the snacks and necessary parapheranalia and heading to the beach. Today there was a predicted 3 mtr swell here so we went over to Iluka and found a protected little spot. This is A. giving her some lessons on her mini surfboard that she got for Christmas. Her swimming is improving out of sight also and she has been swimming quite a way in the deep water between the two of us. There is not a lot of style yet but the practice in the surf is paying off.
PS We are thinking of everyone down south battling the bushfires - praying everyone will stay safe. Just heard on the news 140 bushfires in NSW alone and 40 out of control. We noticed on the way home from Iluka that all the National Park roads were all closed - also just heard on the news that every National Park in NSW is closed - I'm just wondering what all the thousands of campers already in all the National Parks are doing? Do they have to pack up and go home??
