What an evening!

Went to see Richard Thompson's 70th birthday concert at the Royal Albert Hall. I've been to see him at many different places but this one was a bit special. It said on the ticket that there would be very special guests, we didn't dare think who they could be. There were indeed some very very special guests ranging from English folk royalty Waterson:Carthy and Kate Rusby to Dave Gilmore to Loudon Wainwright III to Bob Mould and even Linda Thompson. It was quite the night to be remembered.
