Modelling a spider ......

…… bought on the spur after Lady Hale showed us the way.

W dropped me at the gym this morning and took U and S for breakfast at a garden centre, and then on a shopping trip.

We spent the afternoon fighting with insurance companies - it took me the best part of an hour to cancel the insurance on the car I have traded in.  And they were unable to quote for our new car because their database doesn't include our model of car.  Admittedly, we have one of the first 1000 to be imported - but still!

W meanwhile was trying to do an online quote with a different company, and also couldn't, as our registration number didn't exist on their database.  He had to ring them, and then got cut off after getting a quote.  But we did eventually manage to sort it out, and are now suitably insured.  Which means that I can drive the car (the temporary insurance organised by the Kia dealership only allowed one driver, and we opted for that to be W)
