Between fen and mountains

Moths on the wall

There were tens of moths on the wall opposite the house.  I have never seen them congregating there before.  After a quick trip into the market in Prades, I went down to the church to practice with some of the very competent ringers who have not yet returned home.  It was the last opportunity to try to improve my ringing with people who could keep me right if I went wrong. Thus, I was able to ring a plain course of Cambridge Surprise Minor and Bob Major which I would not normally have the opportunity to ring in my home tower in the UK. The best ringers are having a peal attempt of Grandsire Caters this afternoon before they return home.
