Beginnings
A row of arugula. The seeds are three years old, so I wasn't sure what would happen, but they burst out after just a couple days, so eager to be alive. We've sewn most of the winter garden now, and this morning's temperature was 44 degrees, so we're getting there. The world's turning, in spite of everything we do to screw it up.
Today was a lazy day, four of us recovering from the jazz festival, ExtraDays and I in the backyard with our knitting, the guys doing errands with the car, our easy friendship such a comfort.
