Gentle Beginning

It’s October already...and the spiders are working in earnest on webs to trap food to fatten up for winter and get inside the house if they can.  (I switched from my original photo of a cucumber beetle on a Mexican sunflower.)

A late burst of flowers on my lavendar plants, here, with the 'Pink Diamond' Hydrangea in the background in its glorious autumn hue.
