Bending Over Backwards...
According to my Blip Statistics, under 'focal length most used', three-quarters have been from 24mm downwards and here, I'm going for the granddaddy, a perspective predicament if there ever was one, with 114 degree of corrected (non-fisheye) view. Eqvalent to about 9mm in DX money.
30 sec exposure at around 30 mins before sun-up, when the light in the sky chases away the dark, of this new, local Government building, which, frankly, I just love photographing. The lights and lighting, apart from the sky are all floodlighting and from within the offices themselves.
It looks surreal - what have I done to it? Firstly, it was a LOT bluer in real life - simples - change the white balance to 'cloudy' on the camera (after trying the normal 'auto'. Back in Photoshop, cropped far right and lighten the shadows, a lot, too. Do that again, just to make sure (doubling it). Sharpen it - this Sigma 14mm f2.8 fixed focal just cannot compete with its newer brother used yesterday and so needs some extra manual 'smart-sharpening'.
The bit around the church and wall was lit by a street-lamp, make that small area darker and I didn't like the orange, so made it more crimson. I also cloned out a small branch at the very top, where the edge of the pillar is, so 'put back' in its place some tracery of twigs, to make it seem more natural.
So maybe a telephoto shot tomorrow? Who knows. Who knows whichever way the Blip blows...
