Rhododendron......

......President Roosevelt, named after the 26th president of the United States.

It's a busy bush with variegated leaves and blousey blooms. When it's flowering the flowers take over the bush with their bright colours and frilly edges but when not in flower and it's raining the foliage looks stunning with it's blend of green and yellow markings. I rather like the stamens which are quite different to other types of flowers.

Wednesday......beautiful sunny morning which turned to full on rain and wind by mid-morning and then this afternoon more sun but with very heavy clouds above. It's been cold all day, 11C
