Nervous

Today was strange.
Thomas returned to university today and we saw each other for the first time in weeks. I was terrified of seeing him. It was lovely to spend time with him and see him.
Very little work was achieved today, but I cooked a lovely dinner for the girls and I.

I dithered for hours over whether to go out tonight for Thomas's birthday and in the end I did. Whatever happens, it was my best friend's birthday and I would have hated myself if I had missed it. We had a lovely evening drinking many very expensive cocktails and I took an early cab home to get some rest.
I am very glad I went out tonight.
