Sunshine on the Minster.

Reading minster looked splendid in the sunshine today. The main part of the church dates from the 11th century, however lots of restoration and rebuilding was done in the 1500’s. This was done using materials from Reading Abbey. The two pillars separating the nave from the South aisle are said to have come from the abbey.
