A Walk in the Woods

A glorious day today; cool at first but crystal clear and with a warm sun later in the day.  We walked up onto Hampsfell and spent some time exploring the limestone pavements.  We then decided to descend via Eggerslack Woods and to drop right down into Grange.  The advantage gained by losing all that height was that our route would now take us past Hazelmere Cafe at an ideal time to stop for some lunch!
