No Service
Canon printer refused to start this morning and the illuminated display said ‘error-unplug and contact service department’
Sounds easy but it’s not. Phone lines were ‘experiencing high volume of calls’ ! Later, ‘We thank you for your e mail and will respond within 5 days’ ——This is not customer service this is pathetic
If I wanted to buy a new printer the phone lines were open, if I wanted to buy on line the deal would have been completed in seconds.
Poor attention to customer service appears to be a consumer industry norm and we are all participating in making this acceptable, it is not.
To disconnect customer service from brand loyalty is a false dawn, eventually the boffins who cut costs will come to realise its easy to loose customers and hard work to get them to return after a bad experience
