Moontrap

While leaving my car in Oregon City service center, I walked the city center and found this stainless steel sculpture titled Moontrap by Lee Kelly.  It looks a little rough set against a concrete wall in low light.  The piece is not very old, 2011.  It does seem to want a little TLC.  Hopefully, someone will come along.

I like Oregon City, it is gritty, trying to make it in the 21st Century.  In the 1800s it became the destination for thousands of pioneers who on the promise of land walked the 2000 miles to Oregon.
