Signs of growth

Whilst this is not a particularly good photo, if you look really closely it does capture the tiny spear of green which made my heart soar this morning.

I really thought that the bulbs in our troughs and tubs would have been killed off by water-logging and/or floods and/or eaten by the mice. However, at least some of them have survived to push their tiny green shoots out, promising blooms and colour in a month or two.
