Rat Lady!

This is my friend Annette! Honest! I KNOW it looks like a rat in human form, but it definitely talked like a human!

I was in her rat room to collect a couple of Minklets (as they're still sometimes called) a pair of brothers who are almost identical to each other. I called them Tertis (after Lionel Tertis, the viola player) and Schidlof (after Peter Schidlof, the viola player from the Amadeus Quartet).

I can now tell the difference between them because they have different personalities. Schidlof is the first out of the cage, and Tertis is lazy and prefers to hang out in a hammock. If I put them on my knee, Tertis peers over the edge, and Schidlof heads up to my shoulder. Schidlof is also slightly lighter, so I can always put them on the scales!

The rat head came from ebay by the way! It made an appearance at a show shortly afterwards, and had also acquired a tail!
