This is what happens when one looses 2 stones in weight! Jeff’s old wardrobe heading for the tip and another pile going to the charity shop - and woman have the reputation of having too many outfits! couldn’t believe how many clothes he had, many of them out of date. Annoying how a slight change in cut or width of sleeve can outdate perfectly good clothes.

Went to visit my friend this afternoon, it was her birthday yesterday but we couldn’t coordinate a time so I went over today. She is struggling to adjust to the loss of her husband, so sad, all we can do is be there for her.

Came home and quickly planted 54 snowdrop bulbs. Was dismayed to read they may not flower for two years after planting. It’s bad enough waiting to see the heralding of spring after one winter, let alone two! I’ll have forgotten where I planted them by then!
