Black Pea

This seed pod of Lathyrus niger, or Black Pea was the best I could find to blip on the allotment today. Lots of wee signs of spring around, but nothing really worth showing for a wider audience. :-)

Today was grey and windy, but the mild weather forced the snow and ice to retreat slowly, slowly, but surely.

The weather people says we're going to have more snow tomorrow. But that won't halt spring for long...

Btw: Jaxter has just reminded us of that romantic trip to Wales we never had.
