AT223 - Impressionist Hibiscus

I’m newly arrived back on the blip scene and so happy to see Abstract Thursday still going strong!  
 
I’ve started working on the exercises in David DuChemin’s latest eBook, “The Visual Voice”, and one thing that’s come clear is that I have this thing for abstracts—which of course leads to the obvious question: why aren’t you making more of them?  
 
So, as there is no theme this week, I took today’s challenge as motivation to make my first attempt at a layered multi-exposure technique I’ve been wanting to try.  I read about it in Freeman Patterson’s book “Photo Impressionism”.  Of course, he did his work in the darkroom, I’ve had to adapt the technique for PhotoShop (which is a miracle considering it’s a program that I’m barely on speaking terms with. Haha!)
