Red Velvet

Red Velvet is the name of this variety of Amaranthus, one of the stalks in the new bouquet. I do love those red leaves. I think I’ve once read that Amaranthus could be used as a food basic instead of the common grains and thus help combat hunger. A bit of warm colour on a grey and wet day.
