Margaret Hunter painting

I've had this on my wall for so many years that I sometimes forget about it, then I look at it once again. Margaret was not long out of the Glasgow School of Art, when she did this, working in Berlin in the 1980s. My friend and I both bought one of her pictures, to support her. I'm glad I chose this one. It has a fantastic energy about it, that appears to be coming from the figure's womb. I don't think it was meant as a finished work, but I do love it.
