Fairytale House (Backblip)

This is actually the the building of the oldest pharmacy in Lucerne, dating back to 1833, but I believe the building itself is much older. I took this partial photo from the window of my hotel room in the old part of town.
I love buildings like this. In the very early morning, lights appear in the turret and I can see a turning staircase with red carpet!

Inside, it's really beautiful with old woodwork and bottles and potions from another age. I bought an old-fashioned all-purpose cream and soap still in the old-style packing. I'll be doing a still life image of them one rainy day!

I'm so glad we prolonged our stay in this lovely city.
