Walk this way......
The last time I saw a heron on the back porch was October 5, 2018.....the same day we found a dead manatee floating next to our dock.  So I went out to check to be sure there was nothing out there floating.  This one drank from the water but when he decided to go for a walk in the pool, I shooed him away.  
A nice way to start the day!  :)
