Squashies

Quick hound walk, quick vacuum while it's raining, quick visit to market, quick deposit shopping home, quick off to community centre to meet Readeasy student.  Quick return home, further quick vacuum before quick lunch and a slow sit down with coffee before canvassing the rest of a street for petition signatures. It's a slow process but necessary.

Squashes blip from market. The best squash in my humble opinion is the big grey-green crown prince squash.  Lasts well in the fridge and is delicious roasted with olive oil, garlic, herbs, black pepper and any range of other veg, chilli and Halloumi. Jamie Oliver 'wack it in the oven'  and caramelized explosion of flavour is the result.  Autumn is here.
