End of the session

G had to be in school really early today, so the alarm was set for 5:45. She also had a long day, so I came straight home after dropping her. Pleased to watch the news and see Hazza Al Mansoori land safely back on Earth in Kazakhstan!

Awana starts up today, so it was back again to the area near G's school for the third time! We had 20 kids, all less than 10, more than half of them new ones who have come up from Sparky's. They, er, need to know the boundaries. My blip is of G and two of the other volunteers. They managed a smile at the end of the evening!

I heard on the radio this morning that The Beautiful South were coming to Dubai. Well, I had to check it out. It turns out that one of the original members has got a band together and they do Beautiful South songs. They are performing at the Dubai Opera in December and as the ticket prices weren't exorbitant, I bought two! :) Thrilled!
