Frosted

Dear Diary,

A heavy frost last night.  It is only 25F this morning but my dear Rose of Sharon has not succumbed.  It was dusted with a beautiful frost but once the sun melts it and it warms up a bit it will be fine.  There are still lots of buds so maybe it has a few more days left.  I've never seen it bloom so late in the season before.

This is my 2000th blip apparently.  No missed days, no back blips. Where has the time gone?  I am so blessed to be part of this wonderful community and I thank everyone who has followed along with my day to day musings.  You all are my inspiration, thank you so much!
