Cutting through

Today's U18s match started with confusion. Dunbar thought they were playing a combined Berwick, Preston Lodge and North Berwick team. The other teams thought it was meant to be a round robin tournament - and North Berwick had decided not to take part. 

As it turned out, Dunbar played against a Berwick team that included the handful of Preston Lodge players who'd turned up. 

While all that might have been complicated, there was something nicely simple about the scoreline: a 47-nil win for Dunbar. 

In the evening I met up with Gary for an excellent cheese and whisky tasting event.
